Awake for Days is an alternative metal band of pure heart, unwavering talent, and unrelenting drive on the bleeding edge of creativity and performance in the genre. Based off the coast of Italy on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, they bring a positivity and strength to songwriting that is desperately missing in modern metal.
After founding in 2013 by lead Vocalist Lukas Moore, Awake for Days released their inaugural album, Magnificent Disorder, to universal acclaim. The sleepless weeks spent producing and promoting the album became the inspiration for the band’s name, and a testament to the effort behind the project
Awake for Days has toured through Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the United States. They’ve opened for major acts such as Testament and Exodus and have had their songs played on the Major Radio Stations all over the US and Europe.
They long-awaited sophomore album, Multiverse, was dropped in March 2023. Multiverse brings positivity and courage to heavier subjects, using the lyrics to focus on motivational themes. It’s about fighting for life, reaching for the future, defeating depression, and facing weaknesses every day.
MEMBERS
Lukas Moore
Lukas was born in Sardinia, an island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea. He started playing the guitar right after high school, and after unsuccessful attempts to find a singer to start a band, he started studying singing. He founded Awake For Days in 2013, from the ashes of his previous project, releasing the first Studio Album called “Magnificent Disorder”. When Lukas isn't performing with the band, he's a Vocal Coach and Vocal Producer.
Nic P. Red
Nic was born and raised in Nuoro, Sardinia.
Started as self-taught, playing bass and guitar in a grunge band when he was 15 years old. After high school he moved to Sassari and then Portugal for musicology and journalism studies. Joined Awake for Days in late 2013 as bass player. He's into herbalism and loves cooking with wild plants, wondering around deep nature. He also owns a botanical garden with his family in Sardinia, keeping the traditions of natural healing.
Andrew B.
Andrew born in Sassari, Sardinia, a self-taught drummer. His passion for drums started at age 12 when he started listening to bands like Pantera, Metallica and Slayer. Later he got more influenced by progressive metal.
Andrew joined the Awake for Days in 2020.
He spends his time between playing the drums, watching soccer, cooking and taking care of his beard.
Matt T.
Matt was born in Nuoro, Sardinia. He started to play the guitar as self-thought in high school influenced by great guitarists like James Hetfield, Jimi Hendrix and Tom Morello. After the pandemic hit, he had to drop out of college and resumed his journey in music which led him to join Awake For Days in 2023, where he qualifies himself as a “full time bartender/driver and part time guitarist”
